Our World Challenge students recently embarked on an exciting two-day trek in the stunning Lake District, based around Keswick. The trip served as valuable preparation for next summer’s much-anticipated expedition to Morocco, giving students a real taste of adventure and teamwork in a challenging outdoor environment.
During the trek, the group hiked through breathtaking landscapes and stayed overnight at the remote and picturesque Skiddaw House Hostel — one of the most isolated hostels in the UK. Working together, the students cooked their own meals, navigated the trails and supported one another throughout the journey. They even managed to fit in a celebration for one student’s birthday, making the experience even more memorable!
Blessed with beautiful weather and incredible scenery, the two-day trip offered the perfect opportunity for the team to build confidence, resilience and camaraderie. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved and an inspiring experience on their World Challenge journey.
