At Dowdales School, over the last week, the library has been host to the “History for Today” Anne Frank Exhibition. This involved Dowdales School students training as exhibition guides and The Anne Frank Trust UK lead tolerance workshops with Year 8.
Our 20 Student Ambassadors led 18 tours for: all our Key Stage 3 students; as well as a tour for George Romney Junior School, Year 6, on Monday morning; and then to parents/ carers/ stakeholders on Monday evening.
The exhibition allowed students to share knowledge and provoke thoughtful discussion on such an important and emotive historical figure and topic.
