We are absolutely thrilled to announce that two of our talented students, Cory and Bua, have successfully secured a place on the prestigious CAT (Centre for Advanced Training) dance programme starting this September!
This incredible achievement began back in July when we welcomed Kelly from Lowry CAT, the Cumbria Outreach Co-ordinator, to Dowdales for an inspiring contemporary dance taster workshop with our Year 10 GCSE students and our new Year 9 cohort.
Our students explored both technique and creative movement, showcasing their talent, energy and imagination. Kelly was blown away by their passion and drive!
Following the workshop, students had the opportunity to audition in Manchester—and we are so proud that Cory and Bua were successful! They’ll now embark on an exciting journey to develop their technique, confidence and passion for dance through a variety of classes.
