The Coniston to Barrow Walk takes place on Saturday 11th May 2024
The walk starts in Coniston Sports Club at approximately 9:00am.
Transport to the start line is provided by the C2B team via the happy bus service. If you require the happy bus
please state this when you register for the walk and select your pick up destination.
There is a collection point at Dowdales School and times will be given for this in the lead up to the event. Please be aware there is an additional charge for use of the C2B happy bus. We ask parents to help by supporting their children throughout the day, taking them home if necessary. Students will also need to be picked up from Hawcoat Park Social Club, Hawcoat Lane, Barrow, when they have completed the walk. We will also be using the school’s mini-bus throughout the day to give support.
The C2B committee, wish to raise the maximum amount for charity and so has asked that all students have sponsorship of at least £40.00. The Coniston to Barrow committee are also asking for each team member who registers to pay a £10
registration fee which must be paid via the C2B website (£15 for over 17s).
Students must register as a walker on the C2B website, this will then give them a 6 digit member ID number, which we need to register students for the school team. Please see the instructions on how to register.
You will be asked to pay the £10 registration fee to C2B at a later date, via e-mail, so please make sure a valid and accessible email address is given.
If you wish for your son/daughter to take part in this year’s Coniston to Barrow Walk please:
- complete the consent information including their 6 digit member ID number, via Parentpay.
- complete the Keswick to Barrow GDPR Consent form and return to Mrs Armstrong before 22nd January 2024.
