Congratulations to everyone in Team Dowdales for successfully completing this year’s Coniston to Barrow walk challenge!

This year marked another fantastic achievement for the team, with every single participant crossing the finish line after taking on the demanding route. We were also incredibly proud to be one of the biggest teams entered into the event this year, showing the amazing commitment, teamwork and community spirit that exists throughout Team Dowdales.

The Coniston to Barrow is always a huge challenge, testing determination, resilience and teamwork across the full route. From the early morning start through to the final miles, every member of the team showed fantastic effort and support for one another along the way. The sense of encouragement and positivity throughout the day was incredible to see.

A special thank you goes to all of our supporters who came out to cheer the team on throughout the route. Your encouragement gave everyone a real boost when it was needed most and helped create such a positive atmosphere from start to finish.

We would also like to thank all of the staff team and volunteers who helped organise, support and assist throughout the event. From transport and refreshments to route support and coordination, your hard work behind the scenes helped make the day run smoothly and ensured everyone was looked after along the way.

Events like this are only possible because of the teamwork, dedication and support shown by so many people and we are incredibly grateful to everyone involved.

Well done once again to every member of Team Dowdales on a brilliant achievement — you should all be extremely proud!
