Despite the exceptionally hot weather, it was a real pleasure to welcome our Royal Shakespeare Company Playmaking Festival to Dowdales yesterday.
It was wonderful to see our students, alongside those from across our RSC Associate Schools cluster, perform The Winter’s Tale with such confidence, creativity and enthusiasm. Watching the performance come together after a day of collaboration was truly fantastic.
Although we are a small RSC cluster, Cumbria continues to demonstrate the incredible talent, commitment and teamwork that make it such a powerful one.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to support the performance, and to Hannah from the RSC and our RSC Director Mentor, Nicki, for the outstanding work she has done with students across all five schools. Her guidance and dedication have made this experience possible.
We are so very proud to be an RSC Lead Associate School.
Well done to every student involved; you should all be incredibly proud.
