Coming together to support the Barrow Foodbank

Students, staff and members of our wider community came together to support Barrow Foodbank through generous food and monetary donations.

Our Head Students were delighted to gather and collect the donations and they were proud to see just how much has been contributed.

Thanks to your kindness, we were able to make a considerable donation to the Foodbank, including an incredible £471 in monetary donations.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed—your generosity has been truly overwhelming.

Barrow Foodbank supports local individuals and families who are experiencing hardship by providing emergency food parcels and essential items. Run with the help of dedicated volunteers, the Foodbank works closely with local organisations to ensure support reaches those who need it most. Donations like these help provide vital meals, reduce stress for families facing financial difficulties, and offer reassurance that they are not alone.

Your support will make a real difference for local families, helping to put food on tables and bring some relief during challenging times. Thank you once again for your compassion and generosity—together, we are making a positive impact in our community.
