On Tuesday, 12 students from across years 7-9 went to Manchester to take part in the ‘Come and Play with the Halle’ concert.  The day started with a tour of the facilities at the Royal Northern College of Music followed by a rehearsal and performance alongside nearly 150 other students.  They played and sang alongside the world famous Halle orchestra and had the opportunity to listen to world class musicians playing a programme from ‘2001 – A Space Odyssey through to the Music of Star Wars and Angry Birds.

The students did a fantastic job and we all had a great time. Very proud of them all!
