Last week we hosted the 2023 Royal Shakespeare Company Dowdales Playmaking Festival. This festival celebrated the anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio with a performance of Macbeth and Hamlet. As lead associate RSC school we were joined by our primary RSC ambassadors and all associate schools. The day included work with a Royal Shakespeare director mentor and the evening performances were a delight; it felt like we had stepped into the theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon!
