In Year 10 we study religion and morality from the perspective of Islam and Christianity. We cover issues such as genetic engineering, crime and punishment and euthanasia. All students continue to learn about how beliefs and actions impact daily lives following a Lifecourse programme which combines, RS, Citizenship, PSHE and Active Living.
In Year 11 we cover religion and philosophy, looking at topics such as whether God exists, whether miracles can happen and religion and science.
Students who have opted to study RS at GCSE follow the new AQA spec A course looking at Moral issues from Christian and Islamic perspectives, for example- Cloning, Euthanasia, life after death and miracles.
